Cute laptop! I\'ve been considering getting a new one for traveling as well since my current one is getting reaaally slow.

Do you have tons of room pictures, etc? Also, if you don\'t mind me asking what was the price range?

Thanks! Beth

The Eee is just upwards of $500 and seems to be heading down in price. ASUS and their competitors are scheduled to release many other ultra-light laptops in the next few months.

If I could have, I really would have gotten the MSI Wind. Probably worth researching the newest models on sites like http://www.liliputing.com/

Our Eee 900 had 20G storage, with 4G of that in a separate drive to run the OS. It\'s not much space, but it is less than 3 pounds. We\'re planning on uploading our photos to Flickr regularly and backing them up via FTP to our web host occasionally, which are both wise for us to do anyway.

The small storage on the Eee mostly means that lots of our music will stay home - we can only bring the best tunes. And, since it doesn\'t have a CD or DVD drive, no movies on the road.

Instead, we\'re looking forward to enjoying whatever passes for local entertainment!
